Welcome to Savanoo. By booking a tour or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Booking and Reservations

1.1 Booking Process

All bookings must be made through our website, phone, or authorized agents. A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and send written confirmation.

1.2 Payment Terms

A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the tour departure date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

1.3 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic fund transfers. All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Participants

• More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 30-60 days before departure: 50% refund
• 15-29 days before departure: 25% refund
• Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

2.2 Cancellation by Savanoo

We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another tour.

3. Tour Participation

3.1 Participant Requirements

Participants must meet the minimum age and fitness requirements specified for each tour. Participants with medical conditions or special needs must inform us at the time of booking.

3.2 Conduct

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, other participants, and local communities. Savanoo reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the tour, with no refund provided.

3.3 Safety

Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by guides. Savanoo is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions or from inherent risks associated with adventure activities.

4. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel coverage. This should include trip cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation. Savanoo is not responsible for costs incurred due to trip interruption, illness, or injury.

5. Liability and Responsibility

5.1 Limitation of Liability

Savanoo acts only as an agent for tour participants in arranging transportation, accommodation, and activities. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delay arising from acts of nature, weather conditions, equipment failure, or actions of third parties.

5.2 Personal Property

Participants are responsible for their own belongings. Savanoo is not liable for loss or damage to personal property during tours.

6. Changes to Itinerary

While we make every effort to operate tours as scheduled, Savanoo reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or other factors. We will provide comparable alternatives whenever possible.

7. Photography and Media

Savanoo may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in our marketing materials unless you notify us otherwise in writing.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We collect only information necessary to provide our services and do not share it with third parties except as required to fulfill tour arrangements.

9. Complaints and Disputes

If you have any concerns during your tour, please inform your guide immediately so we can address the issue. For formal complaints after your tour, please contact us within 30 days at [email protected].

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
